Effective leadership

Compassionate leadership assists the translation of strategy and vision into manageable priorities, facilitates psychological safety, values all voices and encourages teams who listen to and support each other to create a positive climate.
Framework for Leadership
DHB’s are adopting the State Services Commission Leadership and Talent Framework which describes what good leadership looks like. Central to the framework is the Leadership Success Profile (LSP) which defines leadership character as curious, honest, resilient, self-aware and courageous.
